其实，在关键时刻来临，很多人是忘了神的话，但确实上神的话是在那时刻显得更真实。这就如同在最后晚餐时，主向门徒讲有关末世的事。在主耶稣要升天之前，祂应许圣灵与给的大使命。在彼得要将福音传给外邦人时，神在异象中三次对彼得说话，向他启示福音要临到外邦人的事。可能，在一般的时刻，我们都会掉以轻心的生活，但是当关键时刻来到，那正是神的话语要成就的时候，而在那时刻最重要的是有谁能够捉紧神的话语，从神的话确定神的心意而随从祂所要行的事。确实，在这时刻带出领导力是最关键的。当我们步入一个情报质询泛滥的世代，人因听到各种的消息而心中没有算数，试想神是怎么在那世代来彰显祂的荣耀？不用说。那必定是透过那能够带出合神心意的领导人。若没有神所膏末的领导人出现，我们只会继续被残酷的现实冲击。确实，我们的家庭需要领导，不然我们的家庭很快会成为如同“罗得的家庭”。一个家庭没有蒙恩的领导权柄，配偶两人怀着不同的理想与方向，所以无法切实的相爱。儿女的心也会渐渐被他们周召的环境塑造（许多基督徒父母可能是等孩子到了青少年龄离开教会之后才发现）。若没有必要的领导力，教会有两个现象会出现。第一就是很快会走“耶罗波安”的道路（以人数、果效、壮大为动机，不是恢复神的祭坛为动机），最后向世界妥协。另一个就是走“罗波安”的道路（拒绝有爱心与智慧的臣仆们给他的建议，以权势来治理百姓），最后被淘汰。特别，若信徒在末后的世代无法带给世人一种从神的真理而来的领导力（如同约瑟与但以理所显示那影响君王的智慧与能力），这世界的伟人就会起来掳掠信徒的心。那么，这样的领导力怎么来呢？在这次新年的信息中，我们已经得着了答案。神在我们身上所要具备的领导力是那：① 能面对现实的领导，不是逃避活制造假象的领导。能面对并不在于勇气，乃是确信既然是神将我们带到此处，必有神的帮助与成就会临到，如同要过红海、旷野与约旦河才能到达迦南地；② 在心灵的至圣所掌握了怎么以恐惧战兢的心随时领受圣灵代求的奥秘。在黑暗笼罩的世代，信徒要晓得用心灵来依靠那从上头而来超自然的恩惠，不是靠各种世人所造出来的方法论；③ 能够因确信真理而在专靠感觉的世代中看得更清晰，以致在一切所行的事上有定见。当人人都被自己的心欺骗的时候，有领导力的人是认识自己的心，也能正确的读到自己的心。为何能这么做呢？因为他重视那从神而来纯全的道，也能很精确的应用这道。最后，让我们透过今天的信息兴起来，在不同的领域中显出信徒的领导力。若主已经让我们成为父母了，我们不能说我们不懂怎么教导儿女。若是已经是教会或小组领袖，我们也不能逃避带领的责任。我们纵然无法在带领人有百分之百正确的引导，但那总比不带领更好。愿我们在此继续向高处行。

Actually, at the crucial moment, many will forget the Word of God. But in fact, God’s Word is all the more real at that moment. This is like the Last Supper when the Lord told the disciples things of the end of the age. Before ascension, He promised the Holy Spirit and gave the Great Commission. Before Peter preached the gospel to the Gentiles, for 3 times God spoke to Peter in vision, revealing to him about the matter of gospel reaching the Gentiles. Perhaps we will live our lives lightly in normal times, but at the crucial moment, that is the moment the Word of God is going to be fulfilled; and at that crucial moment, the most important is who can hold tightly onto His Word, be assured of His will and do what God wants to accomplish. Actually, it is most important to have leadership at such moment. As we enter a generation that overflows with information and news, men lose security in their hearts because of the various kinds of news. How does God reveal His glory in this era? Needless to say, it is through the leaders who are aligned with God. Without the appearance of God’s anointed leaders, we will continue to be attacked by this cruel reality. Actually, our families need leadership, lest we become “Lot’s family”. If a family lacks a blessed leadership authority, both the spouses will have different ideals and directions, and thus unable to love genuinely. The surrounding will shape the children’s hearts slowly (many Christian parents only realize this after their children reach adolescence and have left the church). Without leadership, two phenomena will occur in the church. Firstly, the church will walk towards the path of “Jeroboam” (their motives are numbers, outcomes, magnificent outlook, rather than restoring God’s altar), and the church will compromise with the world eventually. If not, they will take the path of “Rehoboam” (rejecting suggestions from the ministers who have love and wisdom, and ruling the people by force), and eventually they will be eliminated. In particular, if the believers of the end times fail to bring to the world the leadership that comes from the Truth of God (e.g. the wisdom and power which Joseph and Daniel had, enabling them to influence the kings), then the great people of the world will rise up to rob the believers’ hearts. How does such leadership come about? We have received this answer from the new year’s sermon. The leadership which God wants to equip us is: (1) The leadership that faces the reality, not that which escapes reality and creates false illusion. It is not by courage that one can confront the reality, rather, it is because one firmly believes that it is God who brings him to that point, thus the help and accomplishment of God will follow. Just as the Israelites had to cross the Red Sea, wilderness, Jordan river in order to reach Canaan; (2) the leadership that fathomed deeply the mystery of what it means to receive the intercession of Holy Spirit with a heart of fear and trembling. In an era where darkness lurks, believers need to rely on the spirit to receive the supernatural grace from above, and not the methodologies of the world; (3) the leadership that is able to see more clearly because they firmly believe in the Truth in a Sola-feel generation, resulting in fixed perspectives in all things. When everyone is deceived by his/her own heart, the leaders will know their hearts and read their hearts correctly. How is it possible? Because they value the perfect Word of God, and can utilize the Word accurately. Finally, through today’s message, let us all rise up and reveal the leadership of believers in various arenas. If the Lord has made us parents, we cannot say we do not know how to teach the children. If God has made us leaders of the church or small shepherding groups, we cannot escape from the responsibility to lead. Although we cannot lead correctly all the time, it is better than no leadership. May we continue to advance higher in this.
