Holy Spirit is not only sovereign but also absolutely determined in executing the salvation, transforming the hearts of men and advancing the whole gospel ministry.  If we have clearly witnessed this, we will not only receive assurance in this path of serving Lord, we will also be totally dependent on Him. Such people will not only receive doors of evangelism occasionally, instead, he will continue to meet God’s people who need to be saved and healed. With this, new frontiers of gospel will also open before him to the ends of the earth. Today, churches seem to promote evangelism like a slogan, and they have put in many humanistic ways and strengths in advancing the ministry, yet little do they see that the Lord whose will is stronger than theirs is still doing the work of gathering His people. Today, we need to connect our knowledge of Christ (what He had done and taught) with our knowledge and experience of the Holy Spirit; and from knowing Holy Spirit, we need to connect that the Holy Spirit is doing the evangelical work to the ends of the earth in all seasons, through all of my conditions, background and encounters. Once we’ve connected them together, they will no longer remain as theories. Instead, it enables us to discern the inner hearts of men (can discern the people with 8 beatitudes who are loved by Lord), and we’ll receive the message for these people in our hearts. Eventually, he will continue to extend his own networks, experience how the doors of evangelism continue to open, and the extension of his networks. Ask: Can we grasp the “sense” of Holy Spirit working through our lives? Surely the Great Commission is Lord’s command, yet how this Great Commission is practicalized through my life is a sense that we need to grasp today. Indeed, the mystery of Holy Spirit is infinite. It’s easier to say than to experience it, to live in it is even harder. However, to one who treats Lord’s promise <Ac 1:8> as real, he will resolve to experience the power of Holy Spirit. Therefore, ① he will acknowledge the importance of brethren living, and seek how Holy Spirit is working in it; ② in gathering, he will persistently confirm how God’s Word is actualizing in his practical living (earnest in listening to the answers and practical guidance from the Word of God); ③ after gathering, he is serious in discovering how to depend on Lord to live a peaceful and powerful living, so as not to lose the realness of being led by the Holy Spirit. When he continues to place himself in blessed environment, and train himself in it with a pure and upright spirit, he will gradually grasp the sense of being led by the Holy Spirit in his life. Also, the new people group who need his intercession and this salvation will emerge in his hearts, speeding up his footsteps towards new frontiers.
