2) True progress: knowledge, discernment, and afterwards in love <v9>.
3) On the other hand, we must make sure that our love may increase according to the measure of knowledge.
2. The pursuit of godliness.

1) Christian wisdom: to know ourselves what is expedient.
2) Advantage of knowledge: not for self-interests, but can live before God with a pure conscience.
3) In order to be able to step unwaveringly forward until the day of Christ.
3. Be fruitful in good works for the glory of God.
* Read <Php 1:11>
1) A good conscience produces fruits outwardly, flowing from the grace of Christ.
2) That we can promote the glory of God.
3) This righteousness would come from the source of the gospel and saving faith.
