Reason and Relationship <Isa 1:10,18-19; Ep 5:31; 2 Pe 1:4-7; 1 Pe 3:15; 1 Sam 24:3-18>

1. God gives man the function to reason, and enables man to have rationality to judge right from wrong

1）Man is a rational creature

2）God not only commands, but He also provides reasons

3）Reason before experience

2．But faith must go from reason to relationship

3．The problems of being too emotional or too rational

4.  May we be someone who is reasonable and cares about relationships

1）David and companions were in a situation which could most easily make them irrational

2）David rationally and emotionally explained to Saul, declaring his innocence

3）But after Saul went back, the desire to kill David arose in his heart again
