1. Bad language that brings disorder and every evil practice.

1) "Empty chatter" will lead to further ungodliness.

2. Words that demonstrates wisdom from above.

1) Wisdom from above comes from true faith; faith shall come words of godly wisdom (works).

2) .. first pure, then peaceable, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruits, without doubting, without hypocrisy.

3. All these are empty words, i.e. deceptive words, a contrast of what is giving of thanks.
